Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse - Sky Park Pediatrics - Per Diem

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing proficient direct and indirect nursing care of patients/families assigned under the direction and supervision of a physician and/or Registered Nurse. LVN practice is performed within the scope of LVN licensure and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year LVN experience highly desirable
  • Pediatric experience is preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited LVN Program
  • Active California LVN License required
  • BLS HeartCode required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
  • California IV certification preferred

POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, 8-hour shifts and clinic hours are Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shift per 2-week pay period. Must also be available to attend a week-long (Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm) new hire hospital orientation the first week of hire.

PAY RANGE: $28.30 - $41.70
