Job Description

This position is accountable for providing proficient direct and indirect nursing care of patients/families assigned under the direction and supervision of a physician and/or Registered Nurse. LVN practice is performed within the scope of LVN licensure and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year related experience
  • Experience in pediatrics and/or other clinic setting a plus
  • Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduate from an accredited LVN program required
  • Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
  • California IV Certification preferred
