RCP - Cardiopulmonary Lab

SUMMARY: This position is accountable for managing the basic respiratory needs of patients in the Emergency, Acute Care and Critical Care units with consistency and a minimal degree of independence under the direction of the Medical Director. The incumbent delivers patient care in an efficient manner within the scope of the Respiratory Care Practice Act and CHCC's policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a two year College Degree from a AMA approved respiratory care program, four year degree preferred. California RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner License required. RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) required. CPFT (Cert Pulmonary Function Tech) required within 12 months of hire or transfer into position. BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within 12 months of hire or transfer into position. NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty) preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Fulltime, 80 hours per pay period. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
