Registered Nurse - Genetics Clinic - Part Time

SUMMARY: This position is accountable to independently manage the care of complex patients, deliver patient care at a proficient level, and serve as a resource. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required and must meet RN II clinical advancement program criteria
• Experience in pediatrics, genetics and/or clinic setting a plus
• Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Bachelor’s in Nursing strongly preferred
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 3 x 8 hour shifts per week. Clinic open Mon-Fri and closed on weekends and holidays.

PAY RANGE: $40.00 - $66.20

DISCLAIMER: Top of pay scale for RN I-RN II is $66.20 and top of scale for RN III-RNIV is $70.00
