Registered Nurse - Pediatric Plastic Surgery Clinic - Part Time/Days

SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable.

Life Support Certifications Required:1) HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; 2) Focused Pediatric Resuscitation (FPR) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position: 3) Pediatric Emergency Assess, Rec & Stabilization (PEARS) required within 12 months of hire or transfer into position

POSITION DETAILS: Part-time, 3 days 8-hour shifts per week and clinic hours are Mon-Fri.

PAY RANGE: $36.00 - $66.00

DISCLAIMER: Top of pay scale for RN I and RN II is $62.20 and top of pay scale for RN III and RN IV is $66.00
