RN - Neurology Clinic - Part Time/Days

SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

The Pediatric Neurology Practice at Valley Children’s provides diagnostic services, medical treatment, and follow-up care to infants, children, and adolescents who have suspected or confirmed neurological disorders. Our board-certified neurologists and epileptologists manage and treat a variety of patients, including those with seizures, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders and other neurologic conditions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Pediatric nurse experience preferred. Bilingual skills desirable. Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire of transfer into position.

POSITION DETAILS: Position is in the outpatient clinic working Monday through Friday, closed on weekends and holidays, part time, 64 hours hours per pay period.

PAY RANGE: RN II - RN IV $36.00 - $61.20

LOCATION: Madera, CA
