Safety Coordinator - Employee Health

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for developing and coordinating the Hospital's Environment of Care safety programs with an emphasis on Safety Management, Hazardous Materials Management, and Regulated Medical Waste. This role regularly serves in a highly visible capacity: experience, skills, demeanor and the ability to handle difficult and stressful circumstances are a clear expectation. This position serves as the Hospital's Safety Officer.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as well as a valid California Driver's License with acceptable driving record. Minimum five (5) years related experience is required. Experience in a healthcare environment, safety, hazardous materials, and emergency planning is preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position
