Service Line Administrator-Women & Infants

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Co-Management Leadership Council, provides oversight of the development of business, financial, and marketing plans that foster growth, while meeting patient and provider expectations. Evaluates emerging technologies and identifies and implements opportunities for improvements in throughput and efficiency. Advocates for the protection and rights of individuals, families, communities, populations, healthcare providers, nursing and other professions, especially related to health and safety. Accountable for the quality of services and works closely with providers to collaborate on advancing clinical outcomes and efficiency. Responsible for developing relationships and processes that will achieve optimization of growth, quality and service excellence goals. Promotes the service line throughout the regional community and ensures all functions are in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and accrediting standards. Ability to coach, mentor, and empower staff to do their work; ability to delegate responsibilities and ensure they are rendered effectively. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the St. Agnes Medical Center and Valley Children's Healthcare core values and the hospitals' mission statements.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in management, policy or administration related field as well as a valid CA RN license and certification in Administration, Management or other specialty area. Minimum ten (10) years Healthcare related experience and minimum three (3) years Healthcare Administration experience.
