Social Media & Digital Specialist - Marketing & Communications
SUMMARY: The Social Media and Digital Specialist partners with Marketing and Communications team along with key agency partners/ vendors to develop and implement digital strategies to grow Valley Children's Healthcare and its network's internet presence, engagement with the brand, and provide a unified voice for interactive content. This position is responsible for the day-to-day development and maintenance of Valley Children's-branded social media platforms and support for the external website. Responsibilities include developing cohesive standards and procedures, monitoring & identifying trends, analyzing data/ analytics and providing optimization recommendations for digital properties including customer reputation management. Leads social media management, and supports the digital platform and website redesign. Helps develop the network's digital strategy, using best practices and data to drive decisions. The role will report to Director Communications and Public Relations and have strong day-to-day interactions with cross functional teams as well as agency partners. Should be able to work well with a team, multitask, be organized, self-motivated, and a critical thinker.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or other related field or equivalent combination of experience and education. Minimum three (3) years experience managing social media content and reporting experience with website management; proven ability to write and edit AP-style copy is required. Experience on large, organization-wide digital projects is preferred.
Outstanding project management skills required; skills in online project management with ability to identify and articulate online and other marketing strategies.

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must filter, synthesize, organize, direct and track project impacts to their successful.
- Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
- Communication skills, both oral and written
POSITION DETAILS: Full time exempt level position
PAY RANGE: $32.00 - $45.30
LOCATION: Madera, CA
