Sr. Revenue Cycle Analyst - Payor Contracting - Remote (California)

SUMMARY: This senior-level analyst position is responsible for proactively auditing, trending and analyzing all aspects of the charge capture functions throughout the network, including making recommendations to management to ensure the continual accuracy and improvement of charge capture. Accountable for the coordination and project management of revenue integrity related cross- departmental performance and process improvement projects. Serves to provide consult and education on charge capture best practices, as well as develop sustainable executive dashboards and scorecards to assist in the ongoing analysis of the organization’s revenue trends and initiatives. Assists the hospital in maintaining high standards of revenue integrity and compliance through the development, implementation, maintenance and reporting of charge capture initiatives and procedures.


  • College Degree - 4 year Business, Accounting, Finance, Math, Statistics, Health Administration, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years related work experience required.
  • Must have a broad based knowledge of hospital operations, including all aspects of the revenue cycle functions.
  • Must have a broad based knowledge of hospital information and financial systems.
  • Maintains working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the revenue cycle.
  • Must possess strong project management skills including the ability to adapt frequently to changing work priorities.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to create clear, actionable reports, and analysis from data.
  • Must possess the ability to achieve results in an independent manner.
  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment.
  • Must possess advanced proficiency in Excel, competence related to SQL relational databases and Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Visio.
  • Must have the ability to manipulate large amounts of data in an automated and efficient manner.
  • Must possess strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, Exempt position. Remote (California).

PAY RANGE: $41.70-$62.10
