Staff Development Specialist - Workforce Development

SUMMARY: This position reports to the Manager, Workforce Training & Development and is accountable for the designing, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of staff development and training resources utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies to drive employee engagement. Must have working knowledge of learning management systems and curriculum authoring tools. Assesses individual and organizational staff development needs and evaluates/measures program effectiveness. This position partners with other Human Resource professionals and hospital leadership, serving as an expert in consulting, coaching, identifying and coordinating staff training and development activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: College Degree - 4 year or equivalent experience required. Minimum three (3) years in an instructional design area including program design, development and delivery utilizing adult and accelerated learning methodologies required. Minimum three (3) years in training and development directly related to onboarding, staff and professional development, and engagement programs required. Minimum one (1) year in consulting and collaborating with leadership required. Minimum one (1) year experience measuring effectiveness of training initiatives. Working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), publishing eLearning outcomes utilizing an authoring tool; Articulate preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, Days; this position is a hybrid position that will do some days on campus and some days at home.

PAY RANGE: $34.25 - $51.30
