Sterile Processing Distribution Educator - Full-time/Days
This position is accountable for coordinating instructional curriculum in SPD and CED, as well as administration of the instrument tracking system. Role includes the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the education and training of the Sterile Processing and Central Equipment Distribution staff. This incumbent will also be accountable for ensuring professional development, as well as coordinating the research, evaluation, and inservicing staff on instrumentation, patient care equipment, and new products.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience, which includes specialty instrumentation, devices, and equipment.Preference will be given to those candidates who have demonstrated a mastery of the job content through success in this role required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of instrumentation, medical devices, and endoscopes
- Demonstrates mastery of computer skills
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
- College Degree – 2 year preferred
- CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPDT - Certified Board for SP & Distribution Technician required
- CIS - Certified Instrument Specialist license required
