Stocker - Gift Shop

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gift Shop Stocker to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our gift shop’s inventory and storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, unpack, tag, and shelve merchandise in designated stock areas (including the cage and upstairs stockroom)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage spaces to ensure smooth inventory flow
• Transport merchandise and fixtures between stockrooms and the shop floor
• Assist with setup and merchandising for holidays and special events

Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and fixtures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one (1) year related experience required
  • Knowledge of distribution and inventory control functions
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Computerized inventory practices

 EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
