Job Description

This position will manage the day-to-day operations for oversight of cleanliness, project management, and motivates the team to offer superior health services in a caring environment. Primarily responsible for duties such as staff scheduling, training, supervising and monitoring for quality assurance while utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a manager. Ensures staff have tools, supplies and daily assignments. Monitors departmental procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. Conduct regular rounding with unit leads and patient surveys. Promotes the continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental/infection control standards and practices. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two (2) years Increasingly responsible experience required
  • Minimum six (6) months Housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required
