Job Description
SUMMARY: This position is accountable for the day to day operational functions of patient care units and supervision of the unlicensed support staff. This position is responsible to ensure optimal unit organization through supervision of the non-nursing functions and promote efficiency, consistency, and continuity of patient care. Responsibilities include hiring, orientation, training and performance management of the support staff. As a member of the department's leadership team, provides input in budget development and oversight of monthly salary and supply expenses. The incumbent has regular contact with staff at all levels across the department and hospital.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in a healthcare environment required.
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Organizational management skills.
- Computer skills.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Two-year college degree required.
