Supv Culinary Svcs - Culinary Services - Full-Time/Varied - AM/PM

SUMMARY: Responsible to assist with all food service-related activities in the department. Functions include overseeing the timeliness of meal preparation and delivery for non-patient meals, payroll functions, quality control monitoring, scheduling, coaching and written counseling for employees. Ensures employees comply with food safety and work safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience in healthcare food service operation preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working in food service in cafeteria, hospital, school food service setting preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job required
  • Must be able to use computer (for email, Microsoft Office, Kronos, etc.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • Must be able to have basic math skills
  • Must have working knowledge of food quantity production
  • Must have working knowledge of basic modified diets
  • Must have working knowledge of training, coaching and disciplining staff and team building skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CETIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • College Degree - 2-year preferred
  • ServSafe Food Handler - Serve Safe Certification preferred
  • CDM,CFPP preferred

POSITION DETAILS:

  • Full-time, 72 hours per pay period. Varied - AM & PM shifts; Must work weekends and holidays

PAY RANGE:

  • $24.90 - $38.00
