Job Summary:
The Vice President, Finance reports to the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (Sr VP & CFO) and is responsible for planning, managing and implementing all consolidated Hospital financial reporting, analyses, forecasting, and maintaining of internal financial controls. Establishes policies and procedures designed to promote financial control, to enhance the financial position of the hospital, and to meet the tests of the independent auditors and the Board of Trustees. Directs the financial accounting and reporting practices in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) requirements and in compliance with the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as other regulatory agency, state, and federal requirements. This position works collaboratively with others throughout the organization to enhance financial reporting and review, improve financial literacy and develop related strategic initiatives. Serves as the primary liaison to external parties including, but not limited to, accountants/auditors, rating agencies, financial advisors, and insurance brokers.Qualifications:

Education
- Bachelors Degree In Accounting (required)
- Masters Degree In Business Administration (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- CPA (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum five (5) years Healthcare/Public Accounting experience combined (required)
- Minimum ten (10) years (preferred)erence will be given to those candidates with experience who have demonstrated a mastery of the job content through success in this role in multiple organizations (preferred)
